My first Versatile Blogger Award

A huge thank you to Lauren of My Kind of Movie for nominating me for my first award, the Versatile Blogger Award, it’s great to know my work is appreciated and it also gives me a chance to nominate 15 other bloggers.

Here are ten things about me that I’d like to share with you before my nominations:

1. First things first – As of Wednesday 15th April I’ll be heading back to England after spending five months in jail. Just messin’, I’m currently watching Jackie Brown, had to be done. But in all seriousness I’m returning from Austria after completing a ski season in Zell Am See.

2. Numero deux – Snowboarding is awesome.

3. Magic number – I’ve just finished the first season of Better Call Saul and absolutely loved it. Be sure to check it out on Netflix, you won’t be disappointed.

4. Fantastic Four – I’m proper excited for the return of; Attack on Titan (2016), Rick and Morty (2015), True Detective (2015), Fargo (2015).

5. Take Five – Here’s one non-film related. I dabble, or at least used to, in Jazz piano. I play a mean ‘Hit the Road Jack.’

6. At sixes… – My favourite film soundtrack has to be Nicholas Winding Refn’s neo-noir Drive.

7. …and sevens – I didn’t understand Only God Forgives.

8. 2-4-6-8, Who do we appreciate? – Robert Zemeckis’ cult classic Back to the Future celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year and I have a few bits and pieces in the works. It would be rude not to really! So keep your eyes peeled viewers.

9. Cloud Nine – If the Vancouver Canucks beat Calgary Flames tomorrow night in the opening of the Stanley Cup Playoffs I’ll be over the moon, but I’m no cow. I’m more of a dish running away with the spoon kind of guy. But it’s all nonsense really, go Nucks!

10. Ninth or Tenth? – However, I’ll be fuming if West Ham don’t finish in the top ten this season. I wanted to keep football out of this post as I might get a little carried away but what’s football without a little passion? Come on you Irons!

That’s my ten but I’m bending the rules slightly here. As an extension of my ‘Attention Readers’ series each of these nominations includes 15 posts I have most enjoyed from 15 different blogs that still make me smile, curious, and inspired.
